STEM Premier is a free online platform that connects students, ages 13+, to colleges, companies, and organizations looking to connect with the next generation of talent in the STEM fields and more. Students sign up, build digital portfolios showcasing their skills and talents, and get directly connected to opportunities in higher education and the workforce. It’s a virtual hub that brings everyone together to enhance effectiveness in preparing students to become better prepared to succeed in society. STEM Premier rolled-out at MCHS on January 30, 2017 with a school-wide assembly including Evans Tindal, Plant Manager of Highland Industries. STEM Premier will roll-out to all 8th graders in the district by the end of February.
