Marlboro County High School’s own Chandler Herndon is the recipient for the “National High School Spirit of Sport Award,” which is conferred to eight section winners as well as one national winner. Through this award, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) seeks to recognize those individuals who exemplify the ideals of the positive spirit of sport that represent the core mission of education-based athletics. Gifted and Talented Arts Auditions

Marlboro County School District will be holding auditions for students who would like to participate in the Artistic GT program for the 2017-2018 school year.  Students my pick up an application packet from any school in the district.  This includes students who would like to enroll in Marlboro School of Discovery.  These auditions are for students in 2nd through 11th grade.  If your child is interested in auditioning, please note the following dates:

- February 9th – All applications due back to school

- February 13th – 5:30 parent meeting for students in 2nd – 4th grade

- February 13th – 6:30 parent meeting for students in 5th – 11th grade

- February 17th – 4:00 auditions for students in 5th – 11th grade at MCHS

- February 18th – 9:00 auditions for students in 2nd – 4th grade at BIS
